The Banana Diet

The banana diet is now seen as the best diet to lose weight without going hungry.
This diet started in Japan when a pharmaceutical advised her boyfriend to eat a banana and drink water for breakfast to lose between 10 to 15 kilograms as he wanted so much.

Incredible as it may seem, there are increasing reports of success with this diet. This is due to the properties of the banana.
A banana contains only 95 calories, 0.5 g fat and rich in fibers that give a sensation of fullness.

The banana also offers a long list of benefits. Bananas contain high amounts of insoluble carbohydrates called resistant starch. Resistant starch is similar to insoluble fiber and helps to regulate the intestinal transit. It also contains enzymes that speed up digestion and boost metabolism. The banana also helps lower blood pressure, gives a healthy skin and hair and is naturally healthy for the heart.


The Banana Diet:
  • Eat one to two bananas for breakfast.
  • Drink a glass of water at room temperature.
  • Eat all the other meals of course, avoiding obviously exaggerating the numbers.
  • It is worth remembering that you should avoid sweets and fats.
  • Drink water throughout the day.
  • Take small snacks between meals, giving preference to fruit.
  • The dinner must be eaten up to 3 to 4 hours before bedtime.

This diet can and should, just like any other, be complemented with physical exercise.
