The Liquid Diet

The liquid diet is used to detoxify the body or for a rapid loss of weight, however for weight loss it should be accompanied by an appropriate lifestyle, because the loss is quick but not lasting.

The liquid diet consists in transforming the solid food in juice and eat them all in liquid form. And one reason why it should not be taken as a diet for weight loss, due to the fact that our body needs to eat whole foods.

The inclusion of fruit juices and vegetables in our diet is beneficial because they provide us with vitamins and minerals and it is very low in fat and calories, but this should be included in addition to and in conjunction with a diet that includes also solid food.

But if the goal is to detoxify the body, for a day or two at most, a diet based on fruit juice and/or soup, since without the mashed potato is an excellent option.

Enjoy the warm weather and eat fresh food and colorful in liquid form.
